Officially opened by Archbishop Mark Coleridge on 22nd April 2007, the Rheinberger Function Centre was so named after the late Fr Joe Rheinberger who was much loved in his role of Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn. He is remembered for his genuine interest and involvement in people’s lives, his generosity of heart and his sharp intellect.

In the spirit of Fr Joe’s commitment to putting people first, the Rheinberger Function Centre operates on the foundational principle of building lasting client relationships through excellence in customer service, the provision of helpful, friendly staff and a cheerful willingness to ‘go the extra mile’ for all visitors.

Our rooms are fully outfitted with state-of-the-art audio/visual equipment, double blinds (for partial or full light blockout) and newly installed kitchenettes. All rooms open onto the spacious car park (all parking is free), and beautifully manicured gardens and grounds surround the facility in its quiet Inner South setting just minutes from the city.

Ask us for a copy of our catering menu today – the Rheinberger Function Centre proudly supports small business in the ACT. Our caterer uses only the best local produce, all meals are created on the day of our scheduled events to ensure freshness, and no powdered eggs or milk are used. Where possible, they use Australian owned products.

Come and meet our friendly staff – we are only too happy to answer all of your queries, take you on a tour of the facility, and discuss your event needs. We pride ourselves on offering quality service. When you call the Rheinberger Function Centre your call will not be diverted to a pre-recorded or voice-activated menu. Our Functions Coordinator, Suze Forster, will be more than happy to discuss your event requirements. We subscribe to the belief that the person you speak to when making your initial enquiry is also the person through whom you make your booking arrangements, and who greets and assists you on the day of your event. Our commitment to excellence in customer service ensures that you can liaise with one person from first enquiry to event wrap-up without dealing with multiple staff (which can lead to miscommunication).
